The geometric discipline of Zemmour weaving is different from Boujaad or Beni M'Guild work. The Zemmour tradition produces patterns with a regularity and symmetry that reflects a more structured weaving system: repeat motifs running in ordered rows across the full field, border and central field clearly distinguished.

This dark rust and black piece has that characteristic Zemmour order across the full 325 x 165cm surface. The dark base gives depth to the geometric pattern rather than letting it float. Handwoven in 100% wool, vintage, professionally cleaned.
