DESCRIPTION

The Labboho handira floor cushions are handmade by Berber women in their homes in the Mid Atlas Mountains. Traditionally handira blankets are made as a gift bestowed to a bride on her wedding day - handira blankets are also known as Moroccan wedding blankets. We recreate these elegant blankets and give them a new life as floor cushions. Handira are beautifully adorned with tassels and silver sequins - they bring the ultimate boho luxe feel to your home. These floor cushions are super versatile and are great used as a footstool, for outside seating, an extra seat around the coffee table or for your cosy reading corner.

The women are not overworked or stressed but are very much empowered and enjoy weaving whilst chatting with their friends and family - they have the time to put lots of love and care into each creation.
