Ethical production, meaningful impact
Timeless designs for inspired living
The Marmoucha tribe of the Middle Atlas wove with a structured geometric vocabulary related to the Beni M'Guild tradition but distinct in its pattern variations. This piece in rust, blue, and pink on a peach ground shows that vocabulary: the pattern system is ordered and symmetrical in a way that the more improvised Boujaad weaving is not.
At 340 x 206cm, a room-scale piece with substantial pile and the dense construction that makes Middle Atlas rugs so durable. Vintage, handwoven in 100% wool.
