Jacquard-achtige patronen in een Boucherouite zijn ongewoon: de meeste lappentapijtweving is abstract en onregelmatig, maar dit stuk heeft een meer bewuste herhalingsstructuur in zwart en rood die het dichter bij een textielprint brengt dan een volkstapijt. De pluche constructie geeft het meer diepte onder de voeten dan platgeweven Boucherouite-stukken.
