Tappeto Boujaad Vintage – Bordeaux/Blu – 325cm x 195cm

Burgundy in vintage Boujaad reads closer to rust than wine. The natural dyes have a warmth to them that synthetic replication never quite manages. Against the blue, which has faded toward a dusty indigo, the overall effect is earthy and rich rather than jewel-toned.

At 325 x 195cm this is a room-scale rug, wide enough to run under a full sofa arrangement and long enough to anchor a dining space. Handwoven in 100% wool by weavers in the Boujaad region of Morocco.
