Specchio marocchino in metallo a mezzaluna fatto a mano – grande – ottone

The larger version of the crescent mirror does what a small one cannot: it holds a wall on its own. The additional scale means the form reads properly. The curve of the crescent, the proportions of the frame, the quality of the hand-hammering, all without needing other objects around it to make sense.

Handcrafted in brass near Fez in a small family workshop. The finish is warm and slightly textured from the hammering process. Consistent enough to look deliberate, varied enough to confirm it was made by hand.

Good over a console, on a bedroom wall, or anywhere you want a single piece that does enough on its own.
