Indigo and red in a checker configuration is one of the rarer Beni M'Guild variations. The checker format is less common than the diamond field, and indigo as a primary colour required specific dye knowledge that not all weavers possessed. The result is something more graphic and symmetrical than most Middle Atlas work.

At 210 x 125cm, a smaller piece suited to under a coffee table, in a study, or layered over a larger neutral rug. A reasonable price for a genuinely unusual configuration. Vintage, handwoven in 100% wool.
