Le sable et le violet sont une association inhabituelle dans le travail Beni M'Guild. Les motifs tribaux apparaissent en général en rouge, orange et ocre, ce qui rend l'élément violet de cette pièce singulier. Sur un fond pêche sableux plutôt que le crème plus courant, la structure géométrique Beni M'Guild, médaillons en losange et chevrons de bordure, donne à cette combinaison de couleurs un cadre qui la fait fonctionner.

Tissé à la main en 100 % laine dans le Moyen Atlas. En 320 x 185 cm, une taille généreuse qui remplit une pièce. Vintage.
