A Moroccan leather pouf, also known as a Moroccan leather ottoman, is a handcrafted piece of furniture made from high-quality leather sourced from Morocco. These leather poufs bring warmth, texture, and a touch of global charm to any space. Crafted using traditional leatherworking techniques, the poufs are naturally tanned for durability and a rich, soft texture, employing ancient tanning methods where salt plays a key role. Many feature intricate embroidery with geometric or floral patterns. Moroccan leather poufs are available in earthy tones such as tan, brown, white, and black, as well as bold hues like blue or saffron.

Our leather poufs are handmade in the city of Marrakech, in the heart of the medina near the tanneries where the leather is sourced. Artisans purchase the leather, which is then cut into uniform pieces before moving to the sewing phase of the crafting process. The poufs are sewn using nylon thread with a traditional technique known as "Sarma." This is followed by the embroidery phase and the final finishing touches to complete the leather pouf.
